Over The Edge for Habitat OC!

How far will you go for Habitat for Humanity? You step to the edge, look over, and catch your breath. Adrenaline takes over, and next thing you know, the thrill of adventure consumes you and you are rappelling down the side of the Irvine Marriott in the heart of Orange County! Over the Edge for Habitat OC is on November 1 and 2, 2019. Individuals, organizations, corporations raise funds in exchange to reserve their spot to go Over The Edge. We expect this unique, exhilarating event to sell out FAST. All participants must be between 100 lbs. and 300 lbs. No climbing or experience necessary, just enough courage to go over the edge. All money raised by Habitat OC rappellers will help bring strength, stability, and self-reliance to families in need of a decent place to live.

Note: Participants must raise the minimum $1,000 to participate in this thrilling opportunity. There is a $100 registration fee that goes towards your $1,000 fundraising goal. Sign up by August 16, 2019 and receive $50 off your registration fee. Use code: e5w7.

What is Over The Edge?

Over The Edge is a special events company that provides signature fundraising events for non-profit organizations globally. Participants are invited to raise funds in exchange for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of rappelling down the side of a building. Learn more.

Safety

Every Over the Edge event is set up as an industrial worksite, and as a result, is compliant with all federal and state OSHA Fall Protection Standards and OSHA Federal and State Laws. All Over the Edge sites have highly trained industrial rope specialists, all of which are IRATA or SPRAT certified. Each event site has a comprehensive Site Inspection & Safety Plan completed, and if every potential risk cannot be mitigated, then the site will not be approved by our Operations Manager. Over The Edge is responsible for all technical aspects of the event including the insurance, professional staff and rappelling equipment.
