Habitat OC ReStore Event Registration
Take part in the Habitat OC ReStore Earth Day Celebration!
What: In celebration of Earth Day, the Habitat OC ReStore in Anaheim will be hosting a Furniture Re-Painting DIY Workshop, instructed by Kristin from King Richard's Antique Center. You'll be working with CeCe Caldwell's All Natural Paints and Finishes, which are chalk based and create a shabby and old fashioned look, rather than a sleek or modern look.
There will also be free electronics recycling. Bring your outdated electronics to be responsibly recycled.
When: Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Please arrive on time so we may start together!
Where: Anaheim ReStore, 1656 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802 (W. Katella Ave. & Euclid St.)
What to Bring: Bring an item to paint that is no larger than a dining room chair. Night stands, step stools, side tables, or a dresser drawer or two are the perfect size. The item may be wood, metal, glass or plastic, but may not have fabric or upholstery. You should be able to carry the item yourself. Time constraints may mean large or intricate items will not be completed before the end of class. Browse the selection of furniture at the Habitat OC ReStore ahead of time for inspiration! Please wear comfy clothes or an apron that you don't mind getting messy in. CeCe's paints wash out well, but it's best to come prepared.
RSVP by April 20 to get the paint color of your choosing. View color options at http://cececaldwells.com/colors/ and make your selection below.
