Yes, it’s true. You can eat, recycle and shop…at the same time! Gourmet food trucks will help raise funds for Habitat OC at the Garden Grove ReStore home improvement center. From 11:00am to 2:00pm, grab lunch with

Bring any electronic recyclables you have at home to the ReStore. Then wander around the store to find those amazing bargains you simply cannot live without. Find Habitat OC ReStore in Garden Grove

DIY at Lowes – April 30, Saturday – 9:00am to 11:30am

Lowe’s, the official Habitat partner for Women Build, will provide a training clinic on basic and advanced painting. Learn how to do it right in a comfortable learning environment. Then, as a pro, you can teach volunteers how to do it right on the Habitat OC home build sites! FYI $10 donation requested.

Since the event takes place at The District in Tustin, you can ask some of your new friends to go to lunch afterward. Find Lowe's in Tustin

5-K Run - Cinco de Mayo Marathon & 5 K – May 1, Sunday

Run, walk, bike and fundraise at the PCRF Cinco de Mayo Half Marathon & 5K at Irvine Spectrum. Habitat OC and Women Build-OC volunteers will join together for the 5-K. There’s also a 10K, kids’ 1K fun run, and bike tour. Get info on the 5-K

A Brush with Kindness – May 7, Saturday – 7:30am to 3:30pm

Work alongside Lowe’s, Habitat OC and Women Build-OC volunteers to re-roof a Lake Forest home. Lowe’s is donating the supplies. You can literally help put a decent roof over someone’s head!
