Eighty Marines and Sailors from the Combat Logistics Regiment 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group at Camp Pendleton began their day of building by measuring...
then cutting the studs to build the wall frames.
Soon the hammering began.
The wall frames were created at breakneck speed.
The Marines and Sailors worked with speed and efficiency.
The crew kept up the banter and mugged for the camera...
and by mid-morning a well-deserved break was enjoyed by the framers.
But soon it was back to work...
with the men and women sharing the workload.
The Marines and sailors were so efficient...
that their group leader and Chaplain searched for more work to do that day.
The plans were followed with precision.
So on to trenching and sandbagging...
preparing the lots for drainage and irrigation.
Smiles and fun...
plus many hands made for light work.
By day's end, these 80 Marines and Sailors completed almost two days work.
