Betty Andresen Memorial Global Village Scholarship
In 2001, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County established a scholarship to honor our late board member Betty Andresen. This scholarship funds one global mission trip each year for a volunteer from Orange County who cares deeply about global missions and cannot otherwise afford to participate in one. Betty was an avid supporter of Habitat's Global Village program, and developed especially strong ties with the Northern Ireland Habitat affiliate.
Past scholarship winners, and the countries they visited:
| Ursula Bohen | Northern Ireland |
| Richard Marymee | Honduras |
| Martha Treadway | Botswana |
| Anna Allen | Northern Ireland |
| Lauren Galacia | Tajikistan |
| Wendy Booth | Costa Rica |
| Jamie Montgomery | Botswana |
