An Open-Door Faith

Habitat for Humanity adheres to an open-door policy, welcoming all people regardless of their faith preferences. It is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian organization.

Habitat OC embraces these Christian values:

Putting faith into action - Saying we are followers is not enough. Christians must show their faith through sharing God's love and through good works.
The economics of Jesus - People who gather to serve others without concern for profit or interest, magnify their efforts. The resulting whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
The theology of the hammer - The Habitat hammer is simply an instrument to manifest God's love for all. Gathering on common ground, building homes for those who need them, sets aside all religious differences and focuses on our commonalities.
